Welcome to our Asia Europe COMPETITION! Honorable patronage: Member of European Parliament, prof. GENOWEFA GRABOWSKA Target: to promote learning between Europe and Asia Categories: I. Multimedia report of event (photo, collage of photos) II. Learning object: quiz, multimedia presentation or movie. Age of students: 10-20 years Timeline: competitition is open until 15th of June 2008 Participation form:

Registration is open until May 25;
Upload competition resources until June 30;
Annoucement of winners until July 15



RULES and REGULATIONS

Category I: Multimedia Report of event
Category II: Learning object - quiz, multimedia presentation or movie.

1. Each Competition participant will be allowed to send a maximum of ONE project executed in computer graphics –

Category I - photo or collage of photos
image should be in JPG or static GIF format with any resolution but not more than 2 MB.
Category II - quiz or multimedia presentation or movie

We kindly request that you send only your original and new works, i.e. made only after 1 September 2007.

2. Each project submitted for the Competition shall be delivered online – after registering via form http://eu.cyberdusk.pl/poll/public/survey.php?name=AsiaEurope
participanting school will get unigue login to the Gallery website to upload resources.
The submitted resource should be the maximum size of 2 MB.
We will ask you to quote the following information:
Name and surname of the author, Contact data: email, phone, school address, name of the technique used and the date of creation.


3. All projects submitted for the Competition will become the property of the Competition and will be published in Competition catalogue

The jury's decision will be final and no correspondence may be entered into. The jury will not be aware of the Competition participant's names during its deliberations so as to ensure objectivity and impartiality

Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

Guests: Marocco and Israel



How to participate

A European schools chooses one Asian country (and in reverse - a school from Asia should choose a European country) and then:

1. Complete and send registration form (before May 25)

Each school will get a unique login to multimedia Gallery to upload their competition resources

2. prepare learning objects like multimedia presentation, quizzes etc or multimedia report (photos) of event promoting chosed country in school and/or local community

3. Upload competition resources onto the website after login there with your unique data (until June 30)

Awards will be given in each category - total amount of 500 Euros.
