October- evaluation from Poland
„Polish Gold Autumn” 23 – 27 October 2006
Autumn gives great possibility of observation of changes of sorrounding natural environment.
Six year old children observed:
=> temperature
=> appearance
=> way of dressing of people
Measuring the temperature was led by two 6-year-old groups of children.
They used thermometer. Every day they read and marked with symbols the appropriate data.
They observed cloudiness, wind, clothes people wear.
They analysed data and noted results on work cards.
In the fifth day children from both groups met to compare effects of measures and observations.
Conclusion: difference of temperatures follows from that one room is on the south and one on the north
