ELECTRIC DISCHARGE
How do Little Explorers interpret the electrostatic phenomena?
"Teacher gives Peter and Ada current and their hair start to stand still, then current is taken away and their hair go down. We can also electrify a comb by rubbing it against a fabric. When you bring the comb closer to hair or pieces of paper they rise."
-> Hair picking up static

Plasma ball
"A thunder in a bowl – there’s current inside the bowl. When we touch the bowl the current wants to hit our hand but it can’t because the bowl is made of plastic. You have to be very careful in the open air during a thunder storm because a lightning can hit a man. One cannot stand under a tree crown or on wet surface."
In our classroom there is also such a phenomena – there is a fluorescent tube.
