Exploring time: DAY and NIGHT

Little Explorers from Malta are exploring time. First we start to explore DAY AND NIGHT.
We observe that the biggest difference between day and night is the darkness and daylight. We observe the night sky and the day sky. We take a globe and mark where we live on the globe by pinning a small paper boy on Malta.
One of us holds a flashlight to represent the Sun and points it at the globe. Another one of us spins the globe (from West to East) slowly. Everywhere that is lit up is day.
Everywhere that is dark is having night. /View more.../

The Earth turns around while the Sun shines on us.

When we wake up in the morning we look at the sky and it isn’t black. We can see blue skies, clouds and the sun. Sometimes the sky is grey. We have a good breakfast. Then we go to school

The owls and the bats go to sleep and many other animals wake up like us. We see roosters, cats, dogs and birds.
During the day we go to school and play and do lots of fun things.
