May 9 is the official opening of Gothenburg's new skate park, Actionparken. To mark the day there will be JAM competitions for skateboards, inline and BMX, as well DJs. Entry is free.

The park was designed by the award winning Stefan Hauser and is suitable for all ages and abilities (skateboards, inline and bmx).

Actionparken is located close to the city at Skånegatan 16B (behind the cinemas).

The preliminary schedule for May 9:
