For the second year Linghemsskolan could welcome teachers and pupils from the Spanish city Olot during week 7.

After landing at Skavsta Airport and transportation by bus to Linköping the Spanish guests met their Swedish hosts at "Fritidsgården" in Linghem where a typical Swedish "fika" with "kanelbulle" and "semla" was served. After that they had free activities together with their host families.

The weather was cold (-10 degrees) with at least 50 cm of snow. Of course it was a very exotic experience for the Spanish pupils.
During the week the Swedish and Spanish pupils had a rather tight schedule which included:

· Lessons in wood work, textile craft and home
  economics.
· Winter sports at the Himna Mountain.
· Sightseeing in Linköping with bowling and
  shopping.
· Visit to Stockholm with the Change of guards at
the Castle and the Wasa Museum.
· A dinner where Spanish and Swedish dishes with
entertainment for pupils, teachers, families and
  friends.
· Making a collage of photos
All the participating teachers, pupils and families were very satisfied with the exchange and now look forward to the visit in Olot 10th-15th of May.
