You are always welcome to our church at any of the meetings. Look at the programme on the right.
The Sunday service is very central for the church. It is here we meet each other and God through Bible teachings, prayers and worship. All our meetings are open to anyone who is interested in coming.
The purpose of the church service and church fellowship is to be a healing setting, where a person’s life situation is in focus. We believe in supernatural healing for both spirit and body.
Caring
One of the goals in Church is to care for each member.
Each person has a purpose in God’s Kingdom, that person is greatly loved and very important to Him.
Spiritual growth and good relations are important. There are cell groups in church where the members can grow spiritually as well sharing life together. The cell groups are a tool for caring for each other, as well as introducing people to Jesus and helping them to grow.
There are as well special workgroups where the members are responsible for one week each. During their specific week, the members share the responsibility of greeting visitors and ushering at the Sunday service, acting as intercessors, keeping the church clean etc.
At times it can be difficult to get to church, as some members are old and sick. The Deaconess visits these members in their homes or in hospital.
Erikshjälpen Second-Hand
The church runs a second-hand shop together with the help organisation Erikshjälpen. The shop is situated on Hagebygatan 31, where books, clothes, furniture, etc can be found.
The shop is open Wednesdays 12 noon–6pm and Saturdays 10am–2pm.
Missions
Mission work is a part of the Church ministry. The church is engaged in different projects in Bangladesh, Romania, Thailand, India and Mexico.
The church supports areas such education, development and social work, and support for the local churches.
