What we believe!
The purpose of Sion Church in Norrköping is, to lead people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as well as to care for and develop the spiritual life of its members with the teachings from the Bible as a foundation.
The beliefs, teachings and church life of the New Testament are role models for how the church will accomplish its purpose.
Each member can be a bearer of spiritual gifts and can function in ministry for others within, as well as outside church.
Membership is based on a personal Christian belief and a willingness to join the foundational purposes of the church.
We believe in baptism through immersion after a salvation experience and having confessed Jesus as Lord.
The doctrine and activities of the church are common with those of the Swedish Pentecostal movement which is made up of about 500 churches throughout Sweden and with about 950,000 members.
The Swedish Pentecostal movement does not have a permanent denominational structure, but it is a fellowship of individual churches which work closely together.
The international Pentecostal movement has today more than 50 million members and is growing rapidly.
