e-Learning Awards 2004
The final date for submitting an entry is 30 September 2004
More than 100 entries have been submitted to the eLearning Awards since the site was launched last month. The projects come from 20 different countries and Spain leads the way with 46 entries. A diverse selection of languages is also represented, including, for example, Catalan and Icelandic.
The Showcase area of the website now shows all the entries submitted so far in 2004. It also shows the top projects from past years of the eLearning Awards.
The final date for submitting an entry is 30 September 2004. If you make an entry now, you can edit and update it as much as you like until that date.
All kinds of projects using ICT in education are eligible for the Awards. Your project does not have to be a website, but should be presented online. Unfortunately, CD Roms and printed material cannot be entered.
The best three projects submitted will win first, second and third prize in the overall category, which is the 'Young Digital Poland Award for Innovative use of ICT in education'.
Our evaluators will decide if your project is also suitable for a special category award. There is no need for you to choose a category when submitting an entry.
The European Schoolnet eLearning Awards are aimed at teachers and schools to reward projects, activities, online resources and school websites for innovation and excellent use of ICT in learning and teaching.
There is a main eLearning Award category and a number of Special Awards. Last year, Special Awards included Multimedia and Science, among others.
Last year around 760 projects from schools in 30 different countries were submitted. Representatives from the 20 winning projects attended a ceremony in Stockholm, where a total of €38,000 was awarded in the presence of education experts from around the world.
