Dracula

About the book

The book is about when Jonathan went to Transylvania because his friend couldn’t go. Jonathan went to Count Dracula’s castle. In the beginning the count was very nice to him. After a couple of days the count told Jonathan that he should learn the count speak very good English. But Jonathan told the count that he already spoke very good English. But the count should speak English so good that nobody would hear that he wasn’t from England. When Jonathan is at the castle it happens many strange things. Jonathan has seen the count climbing out of the window as a lizard, all doors in the castle are looked, and the count never eats. Jonathan has found boxes in the basement and in one of them the count slept. One day a strange man came and picked up all the boxes and the count was in one of them. Jonathan was alone in the castle, but he climbed out of the window and went home again. When Jonathan has been home for a while many people have been sick and children had disappeared. Mina Harker friend Lucy had been sick and Jonathan wrote to two doctors he knew. Abraham Van Helsing and Dr. Seward. Nobody knows what’s wrong with Lucy, and after some days she died. Dr. Van Helsing thought that it had something to do with the Count Dracula to do. Later all things with the children that had disappeared all sick people had something to the count to do. Jonathan, van Helsing and Dr. Seward went out to the churchyard and found all the boxes but one was missing. They wrote crucifixes on the boxes, now nobody of the vampires would go in to the boxes. When they came home again Mina had been sick. The count had bitten her. Now was her only hope that Jonathan and his friends would find the count and kill him. Jonathan and his friends thought for a long time and in the end they got an idea. The count must have gone back to his castle. Jonathan, the two doctors and Mina went to the castle and found the count. They cut off his head and put it on a pole as they had done to the others vampires too, and then they wrote a crucifix on his box. After a couple of days Mina was better again and everything was good again
Mina and Jonathan went home again and so did the doctors too.

I like the book, it was very exiting and it happened a lot of things all the time. But it was little difficult to read when the book changed to write to other people all the time. But it was not very difficult.
