Alexandra´s letter
My name is Alexandra and I am fourteen years. I have been learning English for almost five years now, in Sweden we have English in the third grade. I live in a village called Torsås. I live in a house with my mum Mia, my dad Jörgen, my little brother Jonathan and my little sister Jennifer.
I ´m in class 7c. There are 26 pupils. My favourite subject is P.E. I am a girl who loves to train! I play football (soccer), floor ball, running and dancing. Football is the funniest thing in the world! I really want to play football in the national team, for girls. Swedish girls are very good, one of the best in the world. This summer are I, my father, brother and mother going to visit Germany, because the World Cup. If there are no tickets to the Swedish matches we are going to watch the match Brazil-Croatia, because I really want to see Ronaldinho, even if he’s not my idol. But also here are tickets a problem, there’s so many who want to see the matches!
I’ve got lots of friends. But all of them doesn’t live close to me, so sometimes my parents have to drive me to friends like 50 kilometres away, if they can’t I have to take the bus. Of course I have many friends in school too! That’s funny to have friends around world.
I study Swedish, English, German, Art, Music, Maths, History, Geography, English, Physics, Home Economics, Biology, Religion, Civics, Technique, Needlework, Woodwork and P.E. We start with Chemistry in the eighth grade.
