Orienteering

Hallo!
My name is Emma. In my spare time I go orienteering and compete all over Sweden but most in south Sweden. I have done that since the 5th grade. Now in the grade 7 we will do that in school too. You maybe don’t do that in Newark? We will start training in a very small wood behind our school. In grade 9 we will run in a bigger wood. In September last year it was a great competition in our district for students in class 4-9. I and three more students competed. In orienteering there are only even age groups like 10 12 14 16 etc. For example when we are 13 we must compete with the ones who are 14. There are many different classes. Women and men classes, the men have longer and a little bit harder tracks. If you don’t want to take part in your own age class you can run open class.
In that class can anyone run, young as old.
