My name is Emma Celander and I’m 15 years old, but in April I will be 16 years old. My home is in Söderåkra; I live with my mother and my brother. My dad lives in Torsås. Stockholm is the capital of Sweden; neighboring countries are Denmark, Norwegian and Finland. 9 millions of people live in Sweden and the most of them live in the bigger cities. It’s sparely populated in north; it’s mountains and a lot of trees. For example in Umeå, lappland and Ötersund there’s it’s a lot of trees. The climate is warm in July and cold in December. But of course it is colder in the north. The summer for example in Stockholm is very hot, the temperature it’s around +30 degrees. The people in Sweden have good homes but some people have not so good economy and cannot afford a house or a flat. Almost all the people have right to go in a school, and the schools are really good. Good teachers and creative students. In the spare time you can play football, floor ball our tennis, you can also paint, write our play an instrument. There are many options. I like my country very much, the most of the people are nice and friendly. When you going for a holiday can you traveling to Norway our Dalarna. It’s a lot of snow there so you can go skiing, our snowboarding. That’s very fun. But it can be difficult to some people. It’s not so easy. We have a girl in Sweden who competes skiing, and she is very good. Öland is our beautiful island; there we have a Zoo and a Bird Center and a lot more. We have also a lot of famous people in Sweden, for example Carola, she’s a singer and Tony Richardson is a speedway driver. Don’t you think that Sweden sounds Good? I do.
