En hälsning från Ryssland
Decemberbesök på Vasa
On the way home our group came to one opinion: "We had a really excellent time in Sweden". We now appreciate to have such friends as you.
Firstly, we liked your town where there are friendly and careful residents. For me Gavle is the smell of "Glogg" with tasty ginger cookies; the sound of Swedish choirs (celebration "Saint Lucia"); cosy cobbled streets with warm lights in the block of flats.
Secondly, a few words about your school. Every year our students come to you but it was my first visit to Sweden and to your school. In my opinion you have a lot of facilities for studying. In Russian schools we don't have such modern and useful educational equipment. Another good point in the school is that you don't have to wear a uniform and students can dress casual clothes. Moreover, you have a huge library and a lot of computers which help to know something new and enlarge the range of interests. Oh, sorry! I almost forgot about canteen. The meals were on the top of the world. It's also nice that you have an hour break for eating (in our school just 30 min. and it's not enough).
Thirdly, I had an impression that Swedish people care about future and next generation. I'm very proud that you think about the environment. That's fine that every place has got rubbish bins for different litter. So, almost everyone takes part in recycling the waste. I was lucky to be with my group in the recycling centre and for me it was very interesting and cognitive. To my regret Gatchina doesn't have any recycling centres.
In conclusion, I want to thank you once more for everything. We have a lot of impressions and positive emotions. I hope that I'll come to you again next year. Of course, we are waiting for you in Gatchina. I'll remember that I have really good friends in Sweden!
