ElTeBo, Textalk's electronic library, gives the visually impaired the possibility of getting hold of information, such as books, newspapers and periodicals, at the same time it's being published for seeing people.
ElTeBo is a virtual bookstore which uses TextBook as the key of entrance. The user connects himself/herself to TextBook's built-in communication system and can then access the whole library.
The content of the library has been increasing since 1994
To look through the library is almost like turning the pages in a catalog. The texts are ordered by type (novel, periodical, newspaper) or by name (Jerusalem, Allt om Mat, G-P). We have close to 60 Swedish novels, newspapers from all over Sweden and 10 periodicals, which are published regularly.
The user chooses the texts he/she wants to read and then downloads them to his own computer. This is done by clicking just a few buttons. When the texts have been transmitted from the library the user can read them right away. Again, user-friendly is the key word.
Please feel free to contact us for more information on our electronic library.
