Christmas Day

Kate James 2007-02-08

Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December. This is originally celebrated by Christians, but now is internationally celebrated worldwide by non-Christians all around the globe. Christmas is about spending time with friends and family and the celebration of Jesus ’ birth. Presents are given to loved ones to show how much they mean to them.

Christmas is a celebration of Jesus birth. Christmas has become a commercial event , and now its celebrated by non-Christians.
This event is usually celebrated to bring family together and closer.

On Christmas I usually spend time with my family. I love to watch Christmas movies there are so many to watch such as T’was the night, Santa Clause and Lucinda’s Christmas. I also visit my friends and my family and have some fun. It hardly snows in the country at Christmas day , which is very disappointing. But when it does ……
Its time for snowball fights. Sometimes me and give it each other Christmas presents just for the fun of it. I also visit my neighbours, who celebrate Christmas and wish them a very merry Christmas.

In the evening me , my family , friends and neighbours have a nice meals like , roast chicken and Yorkshire pudding and visit my relative who live far away.

On Christmas day I hope that every child who wanted a present got one and has a very merry Christmas because I am going to have one myself.
