The children wearing the Lower Silesia costumes. They welcome guests the bread and salt.

Between 1st - 8th September we had a meeting in Glogow.
Our motto: ALL DIFFERENT- ALL EQUAL
First, bread and salt children welcame guests from Spain and Finland.
Bread and salt mean hospitality in Poland. The ancient tradition of offering a guest bread and salt dates back many centuries.
'With this bread and salt we greet you. We invite you to our Kindergarten. Welcome!"
The bread represents hospitality, the warmth of Polish hospitality. The salt symbolizes friendship, an eternal friendship that will never sour because salt is never corrupted by time therefore, never loses its taste.
