Bristol Murder

This book is about a boy named John Stevens. He had escaped from his uncle because they were having a fight. But what he didn’t know was that his uncle had been killed the same evening that John escaped. On his way to Manchester he got a ride with Peter Jones, a man who drives big lorries and was just on his way to Manchester with a load of biscuits when he picked up John. Peter had heard the story at the radio and told it to John, who is wanted by the police now. Together they start to realize the case and found the real murder. It became a thrilling story with car chasing and gang fights.

I don’t know what the author want to say with his story, but maybe he has experienced a similar thing in his life.
