A Walk to remember

One day a little chicken, whose name was Frodo, was out taking a walk.
It was morning, and Saurons eye has just arisen. It was a very warm day, and all the little chicken had on was a small straw hat. Usually Frodo took his morning walk with his friends Samwise the pig, Merry the donkey, and Pippin the woodpecker. But today was the day after a very big party and all the other farm animals were asleep.
So Frodo decided to walk into an enchanted forest, which the others never had the guts to go in to. On his way to the forest he met a drunken hen who shouted:
”Saurons eye is falling down, Saurons eye is falling down.”
Then Frodo nicely corrected her: “No dear, it is supposed to be ‘the sky is falling down’.” Then the brown hen looked at him, surprised. Then she just nodded, and started to run toward the farm, again, shouting.
Frodo continued his promenade, humming a beer song for himself.
When he arrived to the forest, he took a deep breath, and walked in.
It was very dark, and he heard funny noises. Suddenly an orc-looking creature ran towards him and Frodo jumped into the high, for him anyways, bushes.
The orc-wannabe continued running without taking any notice of Frodo.
The little chicken crawled out of the bushes just to be nearly overstepped by a
she-human. The human stopped and lifted up Frodo.
“Oh, I’m so sorry little chicken. I was so concentrated by chasing the Turok-han that I didn’t see you.” Frodo rubbed his eyes.
“Buffy?”
“Why, yes, how did you know?”
“I’m looking at your show every day!” Buffy looked very flattered, and shot of one of her mega smiles.
“Really? How come?”
“Because of Spike of course!”
“What? But he’s one of the bad guys!”
“No, he’s got a soul now, you say so yourself all the time.”
“But…”
“I’m sorry, but now I have to go, can you put me down?”
In chock, Buffy sat him down on the ground and walked away, with a confused look in her face. Frodo started to stroll again. When he had walked a while he came to a glade, where Saurons eye managed to shine through the trees. In the middle of the glade, wasn’t a lake but an overgrown well. Frodo walked toward it. Then the moss and the creepers around it started to crawl of it and left it open. The little chicken bend forward and looked into it, but saw only black more black. He didn’t notice the creeper that curled itself around he’s foot, and within a few seconds, Frodo hung in the air and was thrown into the well. After a long fall he finally struck the water’s surface. The last thing he saw was a well lock that was laid over the hole in the well.

Meanwhile, Merry, Samwise, and Pippin had woken up, just to see that their little friend was gone.
“Where can he be?” said Sam worriedly.
“Oh, he’s just on his morning walk.” Merry said, and yawned.
But Sam was not convinced.
“But it’s half past ten and he never misses the second breakfast. He must be lost somewhere.” Merry finally stood up, tiredly.
“Well, if you think so, we better get going. Come now Pippin.”
Pippin, who had quietly listen to their conversation without any interrupt nodded.
“Okey. Where’re we goin’? “
“PIPPIN!”

Frodo woke up, and looked around. He couldn’t see very much, it was almost all dark, and he had a terrible headache after the fall. He was all frozen; the water he sat in was ice-cold. He looked up, the well lock where still there. But it didn’t cover the hole entirely. Round the lock was a small ring of light. Frodo tried to pull himself up, his legs felt very weak. Then he felt something float beside him and when he picked it up he screamed, before he realized that it wasn’t a dead human but a little doll, with its hair burned of and with burn marks in the face. Suddenly he saw a ladder on the side of the well and started to climb it up. It was a shorter journey up than he had thought.
When he touched the well lock it slid away by itself. It wasn’t until Frodo had climbed up and was on safe ground that he realized that he had taken the doll with him. He was still standing, watching the doll thoughtfully when he heard the drums.
The drums then got company of electric guitars and piano sounds and five horrible
creatures suddenly came out of the forest’s shelter. They started to sing some weird song about a monster man and it gave Frodo the shivers. Then the lead singer stopped and shouted: “Hey, that’s not the little girl that we hired! Get that freaky chicken out of here!”
Out of nowhere, film producers ran towards him and pushed him not that gently.
“You heard him, go!”, one of them said angrily.
Frodo walked very confused out of there, then he saw that he still had the ugly doll.
Never mind, he though. They were not nice to me, so who cares.
Frodo had had enough of adventures for today and tried to find the path home.
But he didn’t now where he was and started to get panic. He was tired and hungry.
If I manage to find my way home, I will never walk somewhere mysterious again, he thought to himself.

At the same time had Sam, Merry and Pippin walked far into the forest, but hadn’t still found Frodo. Pippin sat on Sam’s back, and pulled his claws in Sam’s back the entire time.
“We will never find him”, Pippin complained.
“Yes, we will. We cannot lose our hope. And stop put your nasty claws in my pork.”
“Look!” Merry screamed suddenly and pointed up to the sky. Sparks where whirling over the treetops.
“Do you think it might be him?” Merry said hopefully.
“Lets find out.”
They ran the fast as they could toward the fireworks and they ran so fast that they nearly overstepped the little chicken.
“Now I’m tired of this! Stop walking on me!” Shouted the dirty chicken hysterical, before he saw that it was his friends. They looked chocked, but Frodo stumbled towards them and tried to hug them all at the same time, which didn’t go so well because they were so big and he was minimal.
“Frodo! I’m so glad your okay”, Sam said happily. Merry nodded. But Pippin looked confused.
“What it is Pippin?” Frodo asked.
“Well, I just wonder, how did you do those fireworks?”
“Oh that wasn’t me, that was the doll all by itself, don’t ask me how”, Frodo said and pointed on a doll without a head. Then he saw a gleaming thing on its hand that he didn’t see before. He bended forward and picked up a little ring.
“You better not touch that.” Said the fat pig worriedly.
But Frodo didn’t listen. Suddenly they heard noises from the forest and a black horse with a black rider on it appeared. All of the farm animals started to scream and ran the other way.
“Well”, Pippin said, “I guess we’re on a new mission… quest…. thing…”
