Dear Ann–Christin Johansson
We were glad to get letter and to learn the information about your school and country. And we like to answer your questions and tell you about our school.

First of all the schools in our city usually have numbers instead of names. So the number of our school is 45. In the whole there are three types of schools in Russia: comprehensive, Lyceum, and gymnasium. We are studying in gymnasium. This type of school in which we are studying has the highest way of teaching their pupils.
Secondly, our school is located in a very nice place. Looking into the windows every time the pupils can see our river Amure , the longest river in the world. It helps us to relax in a difficult situations while being taught.

So, now we are going to describe our school. If you enter our school you will first see our big light hall with a lot if windows and nice interior, which was made by the pupils of our school who graduated the design, because in our school and everybody can take part in it Then you can see the door of our library. If we need any book we can ask our well-educated and very kind librarians for help. We get there not only simple books but some unique ones. Our teachers use the school library just as pupils very often.

And on this first floor we have a big clean dining room. But it isn`t high –technological. We can buy different kinds of dishes there. But we can go to the canteen only during the breaks. For meal we have 15 minutes. And other breaks are shorter then the break after the two first lessons. They are 10 minutes long.
The lessons in our school go on 45 minutes. Usually we have six or seven lessons. But the number of it depends on the form. For example at 1st form children have only 4 lessons. We have the small school near the main building for the small children. Our school has 4 floors. There are about 1300 children in it. We have a lot of clubs for different hobbies. For example dancing, drawing. Next year we will have the club of English theater.
In general the 11th form has only 14 subjects to study. All of them are compulsory. Beginning from 9th form the pupils of our school have to choose their own profile. Such as maths , economical, philological. The pupils that are studying at the philological profile pay more attention to learning languages. They learn English and German. They learn English 6 hours a week . In others classes pupils have 3 lessons of English a week.

Oh yeah! We have to wear uniform in our school. It consists of white blouse and black trousers or skirt. And all the students in the eighth form wear dark blue dresses with black or white aprons.

The system of getting grades is different between our countries .We have special exams after 9th and 11th forms. It is some kind of checking our knowledge.

We are two girls from 11th form consider that our school is the best place for studying, communication, entertaining in the world

We are waiting hearing of you Tana and Natasha
