Bristol MurderThis story is about Peter who was a lorry driver. One day he was going to Manchester to deliver boxes with biscuits. On his way to Manchester he picked up a hitchhiker, his name was John Stevens. He was running away from home. He lived with his uncle and the police though that he killed his uncle but hi diden’t. In Manchester Peter find out that John killed his uncle. When he talked to John he explained everything. And Peter believed him and decided to help him. So Peter drove to his friend in Manchester, he was a criminal so Peter thought that he would know something about the murder. He told that they should go to a man in Bristol called Bob Steel. He sold information to people to earn money. so they went in to the cinema and watched the movie. Earn money, he wanted 100£. Peter gave him 20£, because he was not sure that Bob would tell him everryting. He said that it was a young boy who knew Mr.Stevens killed him. John believed that Bob was tring to make Peter sure that It was John who killed him. But he didn’t think that, he belived John. Peter wanted to know more so Bob Steel told them that they could meet at the railway station. When Peter was with his friend John went to the cinema, there he saw a police he tried not to look at the police. Outside the cinema there was a girl standing and waiting for someone. After a wile John went up to her and asked: -Do you want to go in to the cinema with me? -Yes, she replyed after a while of thinking John introduced him self and she did the same. Her name was Susan. So they went in to the cinema and watched the movie. After the movie Susan’s boyfriend started arguing whit Susan. When John came to the railway station the police were there and they caught John, someone had told the police that John was going to be at the railway station. Peter saw the police drive away and he saw that John sat in the car. Peter drove to the police and John came out from prison. Peter drove to a café were he thought that a boy named Tommy Logen where. Tomme Logan came on a motorbike and Bob went up to him and said that he wanted to speak with him. He wanted to speak with him because he tought that he had killed John’s uncle. Tommy didn’t want to speak with Peter. He drove away on his motorcykle. Peter drove after him and caught him. The rest you need to read by your self. What I thougth about the book: I think the book was good, and I liked that we do something other then just work in the book.
