Internet
I’m surfing on Internet for about 20-25 hours a week. I use to chat on msn, because so many friends got it.
Msn is like an own chat; you can talk with just one person or many at the same time. You can send pictures or music to your friends. If you got a Web cam you can let your friends’ see you “live”.
And the best of all is that msn doesn’t cost anything. One thing is bad; where I live broadband doesn’t exist. Very many of my friends are chatting and surfing a lot on Internet, it’s really fun to talk with people from another land or people with other culture-s. Or just with your friends in school. I’ve been talking to one from Norway and Spain, and two or three English talking people, and of course a lot of people from Sweden.
I think Internet is a good way of learning people, but there is risks. It’s very easy to find you address on Internet if you just leave out your mobile number. You have to know whom you are giving it to! And if you have been talking to a nice guy for a while, maybe he wants to meet you. But talking to someone on Internet and then meet the person is very risky.
But I really like talking to other-s you can learn so much about them. And you can share a problem with someone else.

My friends and I use to talk about the most everything from school to guys. Internet is a very good way to fiend new friends from all over the world. Myself I’ve been talking a lot with a guy from Åtvidaberg. And we talk to each other every day, we can talk about every thing and he is really nice! But of course you can’t be completely sure. And you can always beg for some more money to your mobile.

And something really bad with Internet is that you can get a virus from someone else. But if you re lucky you’ve got a virus programme that protects your computer. Otherwise you might have to format the computer or get rid of the virus and some other way. You can get a virus if someone deliberately sends it to you, or if you are going to load down a file or something like that. There is one virus called “worm” that kind of virus destroys parts in the computer.
And also somebody can harass you. The one who harass you can sometimes call you bad words. That can give you bad confidence. But I’ve never been exposed for that thanks goodness.

But you can find a lot of information on Internet and it can be a big help for homework or essays. I think that we use the computer more and more to find information. And I don’t have anything against that but we have to remember that not all people have a computer, and if they have, maybe they don’t have Internet, and it’s on the Internet we can find the information.
