Letters from Croatia

Ann-Christin Johansson 2006-01-19

We have got some new epals and this time they are from Croatia. They live in a city called Slavonski Brod. The students are in grade 7 and their teacher is Rozalija Baricevic. They work with a school magazine in English called the STAGE.

International school magazine

They have already edited five issues and are working on no. 6. They work with other schools around the world and in this way they try to do their magazine international. To learn more about them and their school magazine, please visit:
www.stagesb.org
They are already cooperating with several countries around the world such as Ukraine, Poland Israel and many others. You can find out more about this on their homepage under Countries.

Summer camp

They have already met some of their partners in real life because Rozalija organizes a camp in Croatia every summer where their epals are welcome. So last summer a teacher and a student from Israel were there. They spent 10 days on the beautiful island called Hvar. To see what that was about, please visit:

Let´s work together

I am really impressed of their great work with the STAGE and we are now ALL invited to join their magazine. It feels really exciting and nice. So let’s get started to write letters about us and our everyday life here in Torsås. And their first letter (from a girl called Ana) is already here.
