Meeting people around the world.

I think that the internet is both bad and good for many reasons.
It is very easy to find things on the net, even if you’re not an expert on computers,
and it is a very good way to meet new people and exchange experiences and such other things..
But you can never be sure of whom you really talk to, many plays a game on the net, and pretends to be someone else but themselves. That doesn’t always lead to bad things, we must remember that the net is also a way to escape the reality for a while, but not everyone is nice.
That is why you shouldn’t meet people you’ve talked to on internet without having at least one friend with you, and it’s good to let somebody else know where you’re going and when you intend to come back.

But like I said before, internet isn’t just a way to get new friends, it’s also a way to get information, and to give others information by sending a mail.
You can also play games on the net, and buy stuff, both on shops that you can find in town, or those who sends out catalogues, but also by trading or by bidding.
I’ve bought cd:s, and both my mother and my brother have bought clothes, cd:s and books on the net. It’s an advantage that you don’t always have to pay the same prices on books and cd:s that you normally pays in stores. But is a disadvantage that if you order clothes and they don’t fit, you have to pay to send them back.

You can also reserve trips to different countries in the world, and just as easy cancel them again.

But it is also bad for the people who are under eighteen that they can find stuff that legally aren’t good for them. Even if many work with taking such things away, it’s always more.
And I think that it is really bad, because they shouldn’t be able to find such things on the net, some of them don’t even search for it, but these pages comes up anyway.
The grownups can find these things in other places, why must they have it on the net too then?

The internet is also a very good way to communicate with other countries, not only for meeting friends, but decide different kind of things between the lands, and to help quickly if it has happened a disaster.

Like for an example the Tsunami in Asia this December. Asia could quickly take contact with other countries and get help from them, and private persons could put out pictures both of them who where missing and those who had already been found and needed relatives to come down.
