1. When we have breaks we can do a lot of things like play games, hang out with our friends and have something to eat.

2. Most people do bring their own lunch but you are able to buy food.

3. Our day at school including breaks is 6hours and 20 minutes long. It starts at 8:30 in the morning and finishes at 2:50 in the afternoon. We have two break the first one is at 10:40 – 11:10 so that lasts for 30minutes then we have our lunch at 12.30 – 1:15 so that lasts for 45minutes.

4. In our spare time we can do a lot of things like housework, go to sports clubs, be lazy or even watch television. Because it’s normally sunny we play games outside like cricket or soccer.

5. Not many people in our class have driven a sledge unless they have gone on a holiday because it doesn’t snow in New Zealand very much only near the mountains.

6. We go to school for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday but we don’t go to school on a public holiday e.g. Christmas.


7. We finish today on the 13th April for Easter and the end of term 1.

8. In our class there are 30 children and 1 teacher. There are 17 girls and 13 boys in our class.


9. For homework we have spelling and any other work that we didn’t finish in class time.

10. There are 26 lessons a week and 5 or 6 lessons a day. This includes Maths, English and science.
