The call of the wild

In this year, some men had found gold in the north. Many people want to buy strong dogs, which can pull their sledge. Manuel works for the rich family. He wants to have a little more money. He sold Buck to some men who will go to the north. In the beginning Buck didn’t understand how he should do to pull the sledge. But he learned very fast. He became a very good sledge dog, and strong. The two men had many dogs. Buck met one, Curly. She was very friendly. Spitze was the leader for the dog he was the strongest dog. But soon Buck became stronger, and the two men saw that. They knew that Buck soon would kill Spitze, because Buck hated him. Spitze had killed Curly. After a couple of days Buck killed Spitze. It was a very hard fight. Then Buck was the leader. The dogs pulled the sledge to the north. It was a very hard work. Buck became very thin. He doesn’t usually walk in snow and pull the sledge. When they were finished one other man come and bought Buck. Now Buck was pulling a sledge with post. He pulled the sledge between different villages. Now was Buck very thin. The man who owned Buck and the others dogs was very evil. He hit the dogs and gave them no food. Even if Buck was very thin, the man told him to pull. Soon was Buck not able to pull. He fell down, he couldn’t walk. The man hit him because he didn’t walk. They were on a camp. He who owned the camp saw when the man hit Buck. He went to Buck, and told the man to stop. The men began to fight, but the nice man won. Now belonged Buck to the nice man. Buck loved the new man. He had saved him from the evil man. The love became stronger and stronger. The man had broken his leg, so he couldn’t do anything. He and two men would do a trip when the leg was okay. Buck didn’t do anything he became stronger and stronger. Soon he was as strong as he was before. One day the men came to the man. The told him that they would do the trip now. His leg was okay. The two men saw how much Buck loved the man. They thought that it would be a problem. They had heard about gold in the north and they wanted gold. Buck pulled the sledge. He was very happy; he did everything for the man. On their way they went by boat. They hit a stone and the man fell over into the water. The water was very current. When Buck saw that he jumped into the water. He wanted to help the man. But he couldn’t, the water was too current. Buck swam back to the boat. The men put a rope round his neck, then Buck jumped into the water again. Buck swam to the man. Even if it was very current he made it. Buck saved the man. The next night we slept beside the forest. Just when Buck fell asleep he heard something. He went into the forest and saw a wolf. He was very big and strong, but Buck was bigger and stronger. They began to play and after that night Buck was in the forest most of the time. The men wonder where Buck was, but they never knew that he played with the wolf. The wolf and Buck were wolf brothers now. Buck always slept in the forest. One day when Buck came back to the camp, he saw that something was wrong. He couldn’t find any of the men. Then when he looked into the water he saw they all were dead. Buck became very sad and mad. When he came back to the forest he couldn’t find the wolf. Buck was alone. He slept at the camp. The next day many wolfs came to the camp. They began to fight. But Buck was strongest. He won over all wolfs. Then one wolf came it was Bucks wolf brother. Now Buck was one of the wolfs. He lived with them in the forest. He was one of the strongest. They all looked up to him. People around the forest heard about the big dog that lived with wolf. They were very afraid and went never into the forest. Buck was happy and lived with the wolf forever.

I like the book, because it was exciting. It was east to read.
