How I fool my mum and dad to get me fish

Maybe four or five years ago I was with Julia Axelsson. That day I got the idea to buy some fish. If I decide to do something then I do it, so I and Julia went to the animal shop and bought a bowl of glass, some stones and an aquatic plant. Then I got two goldfish from Julia. And of course my mum or dad didn’t know anything about this. Around 5 p.m we had floorballtraining and I had my mew fish with me. My friends wanted to look at them. After the training when my dad picked me up I had the fish inside a jumper. I felt nervous to get busted. At once when I came home I went to our bathroom and put them in a cupboard. In a week I had them there and I blow air with a straw in the water instead of using a water pump. The bowl was very small. I hadn’t planed what to do with the fish whet the food was running short. When a week had gone I felt that I had to tell someone in my family about the fish so I told my sister Ida. She started to laugh. After that I had the fish in my room instead. But after maybe two days my mother said: “Emma, what are the fish doing in your room?”. I went cold and didn’t now what to do. Maybe she would be angry? So I did the only thing to do, and started to cry. I just cried and cried and never stopped. But when my dad came with 1000 crowns I stopped. The day after that I, my mum and my dad went to Karlskrona to an animal shop there. We bought some fish (Julia got her fish back), an aquarium, a water pump, some aquatic plants, stones, a wood figure and of course a castle. It is not a real aquarium if it’s not a castle in it. And once a week after that I went to the animal shop in Torsås and bought more fish. And all the fish I bought got a name from a Disney figure. I had maybe 17 fish or something and they got “kids” and died and so.

When they died I got so sad. I where very happy to have fish. But after maybe one year I got tired of cleaning the aquarium so I decided not to have it anymore. Martin got al the fish and the aquarium is now in our attic. When I grown up I maybe want to have fish again but now I just think it is boring. And one of the reasons why I didn’t wanted to have the fish anymore was that when I bought my water plants there was some very, very small snails on them and first it was one, and then two, and then three… My mum and I tried to pick them up but there were always some left. That was really annoying.
