Metallica at the Stockholm Stadium

Last year the rock-band Metallica was playing at the Stockholm Stadium. I’ve listened to them for about a year and I really like their kind of music. Of course it wasn’t only I who liked their music, so when the tickets were released it didn’t take more then five minutes before they were sold-out. Some people only tried to make money out of it. First they bought like six tickets even though they don’t listen to Metallica. Then they sell the tickets for a much higher price. This made me really angry but then my dad suggested that we could go to Stockholm even without tickets. Just as a family vacation. So we took the car up to Stockholm and there my dad had a friend. He had gone on Harvard so I was really impressed with this guy. He had an office, which was very central so we had a short way to almost everything. The office was very big and it had a kind of old-fashion design. But there were no beds so we had to sleep on the floor. The most interesting thing that I found was a pool table. I don’t play very often but I think it’s funny to play once in a while. We didn’t come to Stockholm just because there was a pool table there. No, we came there to see Metallica. Well, not my mom and sister but my dad and I. And we still didn’t have any tickets. We decided to go down to the Stadium and see if we could get any tickets. There were a lot of people there, and I mean a lot. The cars that were driving past sometimes had to wait because there were so many people crossing the road. You could sometimes see people with signs:” Need Metallica tickets”. My dad and I went around for a few minutes, looking for someone who was selling tickets. And there we found one. He had maybe four tickets left so we bought two. Even though I was happy that we found him, I was a little angry because he was the kind of guy that wanted to make money out of it, not listen to Metallica. We went in to the Stadium and I was really excited. I couldn’t believe that we were inside and was going to see Metallica! During the show I really was happy. I was thinking that this maybe was the only time that I saw Metallica live so I enjoyed every second of it. After the show when I came home to the office I realized that it was over. I was feeling a little bit sad but this is a memory I will always remember.
