It was Monday morning and Jill sat on a bench in the cafeteria. She waited for Denise, a girl from the neighbour classroom.
Jill was a nice little girl who always wanted to do her best. Even though she managed well in school she did not seem to be happy. She often looked sad. Her big problem was that she was so shy. She thought it was hard to make her voice heard in class. All the others were so talkative and she knew that even if she had good ideas no one would listen …..
