My name is Markéta and I live in Czech republic, in a small village called Věorvany. Czech republic is a small country (we have 11 milion people here) in the middle of Europe. Our capital city is Prague. It´s a beatiful big city. There are many historical monuments like Karlův most /Karel´s bridge, which let build Karel IV. - One´s native counry father) or Prague´s castle (the biggest castle complex in the Europe), where reside our president Vaclav Klaus. However the Prague is far of Věrovany, because Prague is in Bohemia and Věrovany are in Moravia. Maravia´s center city is Brno.
Our typical food is pork meat, dumpling and cabbage, but some of pople don´t like this food (like me :-)) We have got IKEA markets too. We go there to buy furniture and many next complements to house, garden and alike things.
We must go to school too. We start at 7:30, but I have to get up at 5:50, because I go to school to Dub nad Moravou (it´s a small town 2.5 kilometers far of Věrovany). In winter I go to school by bus and in semmer we ride at bikes. We finish usually at 13 o´clock, but once at week at 12:05 nad once at 15:00 (when we have afternoon class). We get many homeworks too, but not everyday, so I have enough free time at all. We go out with friends to have some fun. In Dub we have our fooltvall team, so we go to see their matches and encourage them, we like this. We have much of possibility to get fun, even nevertheless the Věrovany are small village.
