Netd@ys Week
22 November - 27 November
Theme:
Intercultural Exchange
http://www.netdayseurope.org
All projects concerned to "Dialogue" should be registered on the Netd@ys website
before November 21
People of all ages and backgrounds are invited to submit projects online, which involve the use of new technologies and deal with the theme proposed: youth organisations, associations, cultural institutions (museums, libraries, theatres, opera houses, cinemas, etc.), educational establishments (schools, universities, etc.), local and regional authorities, etc.
Projects which share the philosophy of the initiative and which meet its objectives are awarded the label " Netd@ys Project".
When developing a Netd@ys project, participants are encouraged to:
- Study traditions and cultures and current artistic developments in EU and other countries and learn more about the history of particular countries and the impact different cultures have on today's world. The projects could provide innovative educational and cultural approaches to developing a respect for diversity and a spirit of tolerance in society..
- Break down language barriers using sound and image (music, films, videos or photography).
- Organise competitions through the Internet. One of the aims of the competitions could be for participants to find a partner school, youth organisation or cultural institutions in another country and to develop an on-line project on the Netd@ys 2004 theme.
