*The Drops Of Life* is a musical play where some endangered animals gather to discuss the importance of trees. According to the barn owl, desertification and climate change are threats for the environment and life.
Animals decide to plant trees. They face some problems but get help from a child. They also learn that together they can do more. In addition, this play brings the message of tolerance and peace.
*The Drops Of Life* has been created purely on a voluntary basis. The original manuscript is made by a Finnish writer and artist *Mr Esko-Pekka Tiitinen*. The music and the translation are by *Mr Mika Vanhanen*.
*The Drops Of Life* will be performed by children and youth around the world. It lasts about 15 minutes and includes four songs easy to sing and play, with an optional background studio tracks. This play is free to be translated
into different languages by teachers.
The world premiere will be *the 1st of June 2007 *simultaneously in every continent, to celebrate the *
World Environment Day 2007*.
*The Drops Of Life* is one of the activities for the *ENO Tree Planting Campaign 2007*

All the material will be delivered to participating schools (text, notes sheet music, mp3 tracks, info etc). As The Drops Of Life will also be one of the activities for the
World Environment Day 2007, participating schools will also receive WED 2007 kit from UNEP (info package). Theme for WED 2007 will be climate change with a slogan: "Melting Ice - A Hot Topic?"
