Young Diplomats from ZSEI Swietochlowice were invited to the Emabssy of Ireland in Brussels. They had a great opportunity of meeting a real diplomat – the Second Secretary Mr Seán Ó hAodha

Mr Ó hAodha gave us a lecture on Ireland – its history, culture and current Irish policy.

We were also shown a PowerPoint presentation on the most beautiful places of historical interest which are there.

All Young Diplomats had carefully prepared sets with lots of questions which Mr Seán Ó hAodha patiently answered. He also taught Polish visitors some basic Irish words like: Hi – dia dhuit! How are you? etc.

Students from Swietochlowice also asked him lots of questions concerning work and duties of a diplomat in a foreign country.

They were extremely interested in qualification that one should have to become a diplomat. Maybe in the future one of them becomes a DIPLOMAT! Time will tell...
