Spring is the season symbolising "annual starting over" in the minds of the Japanese people. After spending a severe cold winter, we are delighted to welcome another brand new year.

Of course January is the beginning of a calendar year but in our mind and soul spring means something special as a new phase of our life.

This country has distinctive four seasons and we love enjoying the change of the four seasons. We can easily compare life itself to the changing of the seasons and cherry blossoms is our favourite icon which has been our national flower since the 7th century. Many poets dedicated their genius to the beautiful blossoms
