Minang Kabau village is located in Padang Panjag, the cool highlands of West Sumatra, lies on a plateau beneath the volcanoes Mount Marapi and Mount Singgalang, 65 KM from Padang city.
This place is the center of Documentation and Information of Minangkabau culture, in which many arts collections and information can be found in Minangkabau village. This place represents the life of former people in Minangkabau,and several types of traditional houses of Minangkabau are built here in order to the today and future generation can recognize their history and conduct cultural research.
