Digital Puzzles. What is it?

Ewa Kurzak 2006-09-24

Digital puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, constructions, three-dimensional installations, strange machines. Example 1 – digital puzzle: children take pictures of different objects, then decide how many pieces the picture should be cut into and how the picture should be cut and send the picture to their partner. After printing and cutting the picture by the teacher their partners put the puzzles together, photograph the outcome and send the picture back to their partners. Example 2 – Jigsaw puzzle made of geometric figures: children get sets of figures and put them in different shapes, then they send them to their partners by post and ask them to do the same shape or do another one, etc.
